The most
powerful creative force is imagination. I look forward to giving life to imagination and creativitiy at Oakwood in a
fun and dynamic environment. It is important for me to encourage lifelong learning and inspire students to express themselves
through art.

Physical activity is directly correlated to better health
and also enhances a child's ability to learn by creating balance in mind and body. Involving children in appropriate
and engaging exercise at an early age helps build the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. When children find enjoyment
in being active, it becomes natural for them to want to include it in their daily lives. children generally want to
be active, and each child has some type of physical activity he or she enjoys. By finding each child's interests
and fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, we can vary the activities we do so that everyone has an opportunity
to do what he or she enjoys and share the experience with classmates. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and encoraging
atmosphere for children with an emphasis on building their confidence. Being physically fit, mentally balanced and confident
will serve our children throughout the rest of their lives and will hopefully pass on to future generations. I believe
it is our duty to live a balanced, active and healthy lifestyle because what we live we teach, and that is our legacy.
It is a privilege and a gift for me to be given this opportunity to pass on the many wonderful benefits of healthy
fitness through the simple act of playing.

| Yoga Teacher |

I am so pleased to be working
with your children as their yoga teacher. It is very important for children to develop the
awareness of listening to and connecting with their bodies. Yoga techniques contribute to coordination, self-confidence, emotional
stability, coping mechanisms and physical fitness.
My goal is that each child will take these skills
and use them to make healthy choices each and every day.

Music
brings such joy to life, and the more we know and understand about music, the more we can appreciate what we are hearing.
Everyone is musical and I share the language of music with students through singing, dancing, instruments, rhythmic activities,
creative play, circle games and dramatics. We are all consumers of music and some of us are producers of music.
Whether we are a consumer or a producer of music the language is the same. My goal is to expose students to the possibilities
that music can bring into their lives. When I see the individual efforts of students bringing success to the group as
a whole, I know I have been successful.
